Healthy Diet for Conception

When a woman’s body is healthy she is more likely to conceive. It is also necessary to rid oneself of unhealthy habits before conceiving. Habits to get rid of include smoking, drinking alcoholic beverages, and eating excessive junk foods such as those that contain refined sugars and also processed foods. Eating healthy foods improves sperm quality and motility. A woman should especially be careful about getting enough folic acid at least 2 to 3 months before conception to safeguard her future baby against neural tube defects such as spina bifida.

Exercise plays a key role in view because it relieves stress. Stress reduction leads to a healthier body and a healthier body means a better chance for conception success. Exercise also helps to maintain healthy levels of weight. The thing to remember is balance. Too grand exercise can be detrimental to conception. Women who work out more than four hours a week for long periods of time are less likely to conceive or they may experience implantation failure or pregnancy loss. Clomid

Clomid is a fertility drug used to induce ovulation. It typically is effective within the first 3 to 6 months of use. It should not be used for extended periods. Clomid establishing normal ovulation for those who have irregular cycles or women who may not be ovulating. Studies show that once Clomid establishes ovulation, pregnancy usually occurs within the first three months after starting the therapy. Clomid can cause side effects such as ovarian hyperstimulation, visual disturbances, nausea and can also affect cervical mucus. There is an increased risk for multiple fetuses too.

Natural products and food

There are many natural products mentioned online that promote fertility. Foods rich in nutrients, folic acid and antioxidants such as citrus fruits, green leafy vegetables, broccoli, and fortified cereals, walnuts, almonds, and Salmon are all section of a good diet for fertility.
